Shelter Me by Alex McAulay
Midnighters #2 Touching Darkness by Scott Westerfeld
Thanks goes to Khyrinthia for pointing this lookalikes out! This is another great example, like this one, of using the same image to create completely different moods.
My vote goes about 1,000 % to the first cover, Shelter Me. How about you?
And oh, P.S. anyone super interested in lookalikes might want to click here.
The first cover is more appealing to me; the second one feels creepy.
ReplyDelete^ agreed.
ReplyDeleteI love the expression of the girl in the first cover. She's got an off beat look, but pretty all the same. Nice change :)

First one definitely. The second one is just...I don't know. lol
ReplyDeleteShelter Me!!
ReplyDeletelove the background :)
The 2nd cover is quite intense. And also creepy.
ReplyDeleteAt first glance, I thought they weren't very alike for Lookalikes -- it took me a moment to realize they are the same girl. I like the 2nd one, but probably because I'm looking forward to reading the book.
ReplyDeleteSame person! Love the second one...looks creepy. :)
ReplyDeleteHehe. We definitely pick a favorite based on the type of books we like! I agree with veens that the Shelter Me background is pretty!
ReplyDeleteIf anyone reads these I've love to hear your thoughts on them!
I like the first cover best, but the woman's eyes in the second one are cool. A bit creepy, but cool.
