Lost and Found by Carolyn Parkhurst
Hardcover
Paperback
What do a suburban mom and her troubled daughter, two recently divorced brothers, a pair of former child stars, born-again Christian newlyweds, and a couple of young millionaires have in common? They have all been selected to compete on Lost and Found, a daring new reality TV show. In teams of two, they will scour the globe - from Egypt to Japan, from Sweden to England - to battle for a million-dollar prize. They must decipher encrypted clues, recover mysterious artifacts, and outwit their opponents to stay in play.
What starts as a lark turns deadly serious as the number of players is whittled down, temptations beckon, and the bonds between partners strain and unravel. Before long the question is not only who will capture the final prize, but at what cost.

Ok, have you not seen two more different covers for the same book! From what little I know about the book, the paperback cover isn't a good match but I'm not so sure the hardcover is either. This is a hard one!
Hardcover or Paperback?
Paperback.. Wow, they are really different. :)
ReplyDeleteI was so confused I thought they were different book or something :)
ReplyDeletePaperback for sure!
I would have never recognized that as the same book.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what the book is about, but I like the hardback cover better.
ReplyDeleteThose are quite different! I prefer the paperback. I tend not to go in for bright colors when it comes to covers.
ReplyDeleteI like the parrots but the paperback fits better with the title. I don't know what it's about so I can't make a judgement on that aspect of the cover.
ReplyDeleteHmm. I would have to say paperback.
ReplyDeleteAlea - how r u doing?!
ReplyDeleteLong time no see :)
I've never read the book, but the author was a panelist at a writing convention I attended earlier this year. From what I remember, the book is about a mother and daughter and traveling, so I'm thinking the paperback is a better fit. I'm curious as to how parrots fit in!

Diary of an Eccentric
Never read it, so I don't know about how fitting, but...
ReplyDeletePaperback all the way!
Paperback for sure (:
ReplyDeletePAPERBACK!
ReplyDeleteBased on looks alone, I'd have to cast my vote for the hardback, but that's just because I like parrots :)
ReplyDeleteHardcover all the way!
ReplyDeleteI think this is the most extreme case I've seen of two covers for the same book! It's crazy! Thanks for weighing in everyone!
ReplyDeleteveens- I'm good, how are you!?!
