Sunday:
So much for waiting to get these at Half Price books, I found them pretty cheap at Sam's Club though and new! The covers of Nonrequired Reading get better every year, they are works of art!
Came in the mail for review!
Tuesday:
Both came in the mail, Mighty Queens for review and Knitting Club from bookmooch!
Wednesday:
Yay bookmooch!
Thursday:
French Milk and A Year in Japan were part of a Amazon order I placed only last Saturday, I think it's the fastest free shipping yet! They are both illustrated travel journals. I got Frankie Landau-Banks from bookmooch!
Friday:
You may remember I talked about this book here. I also ordered this from Amazon and received it when it's not even released until December 1st!
Saturday: nothing
So come on spill, what did you get this week?
I can't wait to see what you think about A Year in Japan.
ReplyDeleteI got Girl of the Moment by Lizbeth Zindel (Paul Zindel's daughter, I'm excited to see if she matches her dad for great YA). I also got Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophia Kinsella. Both were from PaperBackSwap!
ReplyDeleteNot on the list for the week, but I see on the right column that you're reading Malcolm Gladwell's newest book. After you finish you must tell me how it is! I think he's brilliant....and also strangely hot.
ReplyDeleteI LOVED The Friday Night Knitting Club. I just finished the sequel yesterday. Kate Jacobs is so great I emailed her about an ARC and she forwarded it to her publisher.
ReplyDeleteOh and I might make a trip to the city to look for books in two weeks or so. Depends on how many hours I get at work.
I just got a notice that a book on my wish list at Book Mooch was listed - YEAH!
ReplyDelete**sigh** i so so so want the "knitting club book :)
ReplyDeletebermudaonion- Me too!
ReplyDeleteAmee- Aww father and daughter writers, so cute!
Taren- It was GOOD, I should be posting my review in the next few days. The Tipping Point is still my favorite but Outliers was good. And I totally know what you mean about him being strangely hot!
sharonanne- I'm excited to read it! I think I wrote on your blog, but if you do decide to go to the strand let me know and if you are willing I'll send you a little list of what I'm looking for!
J. Kaye- Oooh, that's always fun!
Veens- It does sound really good!
