Story of a Girl by Sara ZarrThis is a great one because they really don't look the same but have so many similar elements. Blue car (do you think the first one is in a car or maybe a window?), girl looking out window, and hands up in the frame. I like Story of the Girl better because the design is just much more contemporary, I'm assuming the other cover is a reprint of an older cover?

Both covers are kind of mnah. I like Sara Zarr's more. What strikes me more is that the model looks exactly like Abbey from season 4/5 One Tree Hill. You know the diabetic that saw Dan kill Keith? lol

The second one looks more current, the first looks like something I would have read when I was an actual YA and *ahem* that was a while ago.

ReplyDeleteWatch for Melissa Walker's cover story post on this - you will be surprised to find out that the top cover almost WAS the cover for Story of a Girl. :)

ReplyDeleteProbably Story of a Girl. I'm biased against Annie's Baby b/c it's not an actual diary (kinda like Go Ask Alice--same author).
