Borders.com:

When Margo Roth Spiegelman beckons Quentin Jacobsen in the middle of the nightdressed like a ninja and plotting an ingenious campaign of revengehe follows her. Margos always planned extravagantly, and, until now, shes always planned solo. After a lifetime of loving Margo from afar, things are finally looking up for Q . . . until day breaks and she has vanished. Always an enigma, Margo has now become a mystery. But there are clues. And they're for Q.Printz Medalist John Green returns with the trademark brilliant wit and heart-stopping emotional honesty that have inspired a new generation of readers.

Still haven't read this (as of April 19th 2009) and I really shouldn't have put the Australian edition into the mix because that cover blows the rest out of the water, but I just had to! I think they are all well done but of course wish I had the AU edition! I'm curious to see what the significance of the paperback is once I read it, just as is it's my least favorite of all of them.

Which is your favorite?

  1. OHHH, I like the US paper back edition a LOT. I prefer not having a person on the cover because I don't want my image of Margo made at all.

  2. My Favourite is the US paperback one. It's the only one I haven't seen.

  4. On second thought, though, I think that the US paperback edition might be giving away a huge part of the story. I'm conflicted now!

  5. It's the firsy time I've seen the paperback, and I love it! I think all the covers are great, however, I'm not a big fan of the Australian cover.

  6. I agree about the US paperback edition. It's just of like...what? (I haven't read it yet either!). But I like the US hardcover and AU paperback covers, probably about the same amount.

  7. Oooh, I *like* the paperback! It makes a lot of sense once you read the book. The "Margo" on the US hardcover just looks so bland, and the Aussie version looks to dark/goth/emo.

  9. I like the paperback, because it makes a lot of sense once you read the book. The Australian one has the same problem as the US blue hardcover - Margo looks sad to me, and she's not seen that way by the narrator.

Ooh, how I love the paperback, too! I've been waiting to buy Paper Twon so that I could get the paperback. Like Kelly, I prefer not to have a person on the cover as with the hardcover. The AU looks good, a little more dark, but I still prefer the paperback!

  11. I like the hardcover, though the model isn't how I pictured Margo. Stil, there's something smirky about her that draws me in. She knows something...

  12. I actually really like the US pb edition. It captures the book really well for me. Love all of them to be honest, but definitely happy with the pb.

I really like the US paperback. I think it's pretty cool. As far as hardcover is concerned, I love the one with the blueish tint. :)

  15. I'm with Kelly J - I like the paper back cover the most. It makes a lot of sense if you've read the book and I also think it will appeal more to boys (and hello, it's a book with mostly boys!)

  17. The paperback is fantastic! I hadn't seen it until now and I absolutely love it. It's just perfect. I still like the use of two covers for the hardcover, and how they both portray a different side of Margo. I like the meaning behind them, but the paperback is better, in my opinion, and has meaning too.

  19. I hadn't seen the paperback cover... I really like it! I didn't intially like the hardcover covers, although they grew on me after reading the book. I don't care for the Australian cover at all, too dark and not really fitting the mood of the book.

  20. I like the US paperback best. It looks more intriguing than covers with just a face to me.

  24. I like how the hardcover shows two images of Margo Roth Speigelman
but neither of them are Margo, the paperback is cute, and the Australian cover is nice too!

They are much nicer than the new Alaska cover ^_^

  28. I think the Australian cover is compelling, but doesn't really reflect the tone of the book so could be misleading for readers. I dislike the US hardcover (the girl kinda creeps me out) and am not thrilled by the paperback either. Such a good book, though!

  29. I'm into the US paperback! Still need to read. I know, horribly behind...

  30. Love all the US ones. The AUS one is good, too, but just a little off. (I remember liking the blurb for that one, though. What?) US Paperback is my favorite.
