I agree - the blues are too dark on Toy Monster - so My Big Nose wins for me too.
I do have to agree with you. Number 2 is definitely much better, even though I think that the doll's face is somehow eerie. It might have something to do with Chucky, lol!

Haha, they're both very funny, but I like the lighter, cuter look of My Big Nose. Great lookalikes, though!
I think each works for the book--the freakish Toy Monster does look creepy, and that's a nonfiction book, and then My Big Nose (though...the nose doesn't look very big...) has a fiction/fun feel that's right for that book. They both win!
I agree with Tashya, I think they both work for each book. Although the second one is definitely prettier!
