If you need a reminder here's the blurb:

Amazon.com:
An arresting story about starting over after a friend’s suicide, froma breakthrough new voice in YA fiction

dear caitlin, there are so many things that i want so badly to tell you but i just can’t.

Devastating, hopeful, hopeless, playful . . . in words and illustrations, Ingrid left behind a painful farewell in her journal for Caitlin. Now Caitlin is left alone, by loss and by choice, struggling to find renewed hope in the wake of her best friend’s suicide. With the help of family and newfound friends, Caitlin will encounter first love, broaden her horizons, and start to realize that true friendship didn’t die with Ingrid. And the journal which once seemed only to chronicle Ingrid’s descent into depression, becomes the tool by which Caitlin once again reaches out to all those who loved Ingrid—and Caitlin herself .

  1. I'm interested in reading this because I love good YA fiction and think it sounds intriguing. Additionally, I'm wondering if I might be able to read it and then recommend it to staff and volunteers at a local nonprofit called Nuci's Space (http://www.nuci.org/), a center in Athens created to prevent suicide and allow musicians easy access to the mental and physical health services they seek. There are some suicide survivor support groups, and I think this book might be a good fit for a guided reading exercise. We'll see. Thanks!

  2. I haven't read this book yet but I really want to because the main character has my name spelled the same way. I have never read a book where it has my name in it.

  6. I really want to read this book because, this might sound weird, but books about tragic people intrigue me. I'm sort of fascinated by how people handle things that happen in life, especially bad things.

  10. The plot alone intruiged me from the start. I always find it interesting to see death and suicide represented in YA fiction. I like seeing each authors take on it, and how they go about explaining something, that in a lot of instances, is unexplainable. I just want to read it so bad!

  35. I would love to read this. If for not other reason than I've been the recipient of a suicide note before. The questions you ask yourself, the answers that never fully come. You're left to wonder how someone can so easily put the words into a letter yet never have the courage to tell you in person, when you might have been able to help.

    Thanks for the opportunity! Indigo

  53. I have been on both sides of the suicide issue- the one thinking that is all that is left, and the one left behind. I get it, from both stand points, and really do enjoy books that touch on hard topics like this- and I hope this book doesn't cast either side in a negative light because though its not the best decision, there's reasons for why someone would do this. Its hard to explain- but its amazing when it is explained.

  61. To be honest, the cover makes me want to read it :) If a book doesn't look interesting, despite the phrase Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover, I have a lower chance of reading it, and this cover is truly amazing. The book trailer, as well, is really good. I'm really interested in this. Please count me in!
