Wife of the Gods by Kwei Quartery
So maybe not as lookalike-y as usual but I like comparing the two. I like them both but I think I prefer Into the Wild Nerd Yonder a bit more. They are both interesting though, I like the typefaces and the backgrounds of both.
Which do you prefer?

I like the more definitive tones and geometry of the second.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Beth K. I like the African fabric better than the pink. And I like the second dress better too.
ReplyDeleteBoth have great looks. I can't choose.
ReplyDeleteI think I prefer Into the Wild Nerd Yonder. I'm very much a color person, and I'mnot so into the colors of the second book.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the second one, more natural tones and less 'bling' (which I'm not a big fan of). But they indeed are lookalike-y as you say !
ReplyDeleteI like the first one... because it's pink :-) I think the earth tones in the second one are a tad boring.
ReplyDeleteI like the second cover better, but the title of the first caught my attention.
ReplyDeleteI much prefer the first one :)
ReplyDeleteI love the first one better. It's so cute and colorful that it just pops!
ReplyDeleteI like the second, the first one looks very chicklit. But if it is a chicklit then I like both :)
ReplyDeleteI think they're both great. I like the dress figures, the fonts, and the backgrounds.
ReplyDeleteI think it's the purple-pink black mix of colors but that's the one I like the most.
ReplyDeleteThe first one, all the way!
ReplyDeletei like the second one =)
ReplyDeleteSo, I totally get why you have this as a look alike, because they are both large dresses w/ nobody wearing them. But for me, they are too different from each other to be able to say which I like better. I like the colors in the first one better, but the themes in the second one are more intriguing. Does that make sense?
ReplyDeleteThe second seems cleaner to me, so I'll go with that.
ReplyDeleteThese also made me think of the hardcover for Dana Reinhardt's A BRIEF CHAPTER IN MY IMPOSSIBLE LIFE, though it's different in many ways:
