Lookalikes 78

Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher (UK paperback)

Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult (German edition)

Definitely Thirteen Reasons Why for me, while the cropping and cover is not really anything special the cropping on Nineteen Minutes is a bit awkward for me. More or less of her face should have been cropped. And I don't like how the 9 just barely overlaps her head.

Which do you prefer?

    The 19 Minutes one is just weird. It doesn't fit the story very well. I like the hardcover cover of that one ... it just fits it much better. This one works better for 13 reasons why (though I like the us hardcover on that one better, too...). This particular cover doesn't really scream teen to me for some reason, even though she is one.

    Thirteen Reasons Why for sure. The cover for 19 Minutes look pretty creepy.

    I don't like either cover. I think the small summary on Thirteen Reasons is just plain creepy. And the font is too happy and swirly for what is supposed to be such a serious book. Like you said, 19 Minutes has it's problems too. I kind of wonder why they used that particular cover model. I don't think she does much for either cover. She looks more tired than depressed or sad. :S

    I like the Thirteen Reasons Why cover better. I actually don't love either but it's the better of the two.
