The Turning: What Curiosity Kills by Helen Ellis
Ok, not exactly the same but they both share faces with eye contact and light spots (which I happen to adore). I think I like The Turning a bit more because it's a bit more focused and less going on. Whereas Lipstick Apology has the face, the city and some random blurry space between them. I also think the colors in The Turning are a bit richer.

I like The Turning too, but it's rather creepy with that spot on her eye. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure. I think the second one looks more attractive in some ways.
ReplyDeleteThe second one catches my eye so much more than the first one. Oh and Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. That read looks great on the Turning cover.
ReplyDeleteHope you had an exceptionally happy holiday this year :)
The Turning is my choice, but I too think it's creepy.
ReplyDeleteOh! Merry, merry Christmas!
ReplyDelete"the cover could have been much better" is the first thing that comes to my mind....curiosity gives you much independence to do this,....i recently realized that whenever i browse through online bookstores like A1Books and the like, i really give much importance to the covers and the review..... :) :) :)
