This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen
Bewitching Love Potions and Charms by Raven TempestEehh. I guess This Lullaby, there is something sort of suffocating about the monotone color of Bewitching. It's like the person is standing in a pink haze. I also like the placement of the title on This Lullaby.

ReplyDeleteI like Sarah Dessen's the best. In fact, that was the first Dessen book I've read. The cover drew me in.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Tina. This Lullaby was my first Sarah Dessen, and I picked it up because of the cover! So I vote for it.

ReplyDeleteI definately love This Lullaby, it was the first Dessen book I ever read, and remains to be my favourite. I love the US cover, with the paper heart, like its so small and fragile, its amazing symbology. I love it
ReplyDeleteI love This Lullaby--Because I'm so familiar with it the other seems like a cheap knockoff, like a bad imitation Gucci plastic bag or something. But, Sarah Dessen is a favorite of mine, so I might have a *slight* prejudice!

ReplyDeleteNo! I was very sad to see that this was a lookalike. I've always loved the way the This Lullaby cover looks and how unique it seemed to be. I definitely choose that one. You're right about the suffocating feel of the pink. It's overwhelming.
