Ok, ok these actually came Thursday but I thought I would share a sneak peek before posting the rest of my BEA recaps, which will be occurring sometime soon. Disclaimer: I somehow ended up with 2 boxes this instead of one. How? I have no idea! I did ship at the end of each day though, to try and avoid the theft that happened last year. And one came with a big old rip in the side, luckily everything seemed ok for the most part!
How scary to see that ripped-open box! Glad all seemed to be okay -- can't wait to see everything that was in those boxes.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a tease you are! I shipped 2 boxes this year too, but one was only half full.
ReplyDeleteI should have stacked my books for my pictures of the BEA books. As I look at other blogs I see better ideas all the time.... LOL :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy all the reads!
Argh, hate it when boxes get damaged. A package I received this week got damaged too but it arrived in a bag so it was nice of the postman to put it in a bag to protect it. =]
ReplyDeleteI see Beautiful Darkness!! Enjoy!
Ooh, knitting books, yay! And yes, that rip is scary!
ReplyDeleteWow!! :) Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteShow us what all the books are!
ReplyDeleteThis is like asking if I want a lemonade and giving me a dixie cup of it! :)
Beautiful Darkness!!! I'M JEALOUS.
ReplyDeleteMy box was all smashed up and a couple of books inside were bent - even a hardcover! Very ridiculous. But I'm glad your books came okay!
ReplyDeleteOne of mine had a big ol' rip in it as well. I was scared. But everything seemed to arrive safely. Its crazy the amount we spent on shipping they should have held up better!
ReplyDeleteNow I am worried about my boxes!
ReplyDeleteYou little TEASE *storms off*
ReplyDeleteAwesome!! I'll be glad to see what you think of these. Woo hoo!
ReplyDeleteI saw those boxes and almost whispered out loud, "I want to go to there."
ReplyDeleteOne caught my eye right off - "Stitch and Bitch Nation!" Love that title!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am reading a book written by my cousin, Lilly Gayle. This is her first book, OUT OF DARKNESS.
ReplyDeleteThese reviews are included in her book.
Praise for Lilly Gayle
“If you’re looking for an edge-of-your-seat paranormal, OUT OF DARKNESS is an enthralling story that combines the best of suspense with a sexy vampire romance. The unexpected plot turns will leave you breathless and aching with sympathy for Vincent’s tragic and utterly real desire to be human, made even more desperate by the unbidden love growing for Megan. OUT OF DARKNESS is a compelling and satisfying read in one of my favorite genres.”
~Amy Corwin, author of I Bid One American ans Outrageous Behavior
~”Lilly Gayle is an exciting new voice in the world of paranormal romance. ~Jenna Black
I am so proud of my cousin. Her website is http://www.lillygayle.com
I suppose this shipment satisfies any concerns about a lack of summer reading material...
ReplyDeleteGah, I'm telling you....that rip breaks my heart every time I see it. Tragic!
ReplyDeleteGlad the books came through reletively unscathed though :)
Yup, one of my boxes was ripped open, too. Luckily, everything inside was okay!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad there were no escapees from the box...that's a pretty big rip!
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm surprised they were in good shape despite that nasty rip. I can't believe I missed the Stitch 'n Bitch book!
