This Week In Books or Go Ahead And Laugh

Why yes that is Vampire Knits the book I made fun off just a few months ago. I gave it a few looks in the store over the past week and decided besides the horrible horrible concept and some of the horrible patterns there are actually some really pretty things in here.  Also decided to go low-tech tonight with the picture, for a camera phone picture that's not bad though!

Tuesday:

Witch Craft compiled by Margaret McGuire and Alicia Kachmar (Purchased at Borders)

Case File: Canyon Creek, Wyoming  (Harlequin Ambassadors)

Wednesday:

Please Ignore Vera Dietz by A.S. King (Just Showed Up Review Copy)

Thursday: nothing

  4. I love the cover for Vampire Knits. Like there's something mysterious in the story (haven't read the synopsis, so I may be waay off).

  7. Every time I see your knits (background or foreground) I sigh and wish I knew how to knit. I want a cute little rainbow knit cap so bad. LOL, I'm just not talented. :P

  8. Dazzling Mage- It's actually a book of knit patterns for people that are obsessed with vampires, which I am not, but I liked some of the patterns haha!

christina- Most of the stuff I've been showing lately is actually crochet, I can suggest resources if you are interested in learning!

  9. Alea, you make me laugh. Hopefully this will make you feel better - another friend of mine who is into knitting ALSO made fun of that vamp knits book with me at the same time - she looked through it just last week (almost same time you told me you did) and said there were some decent patterns in there.

So, I guess the book is ok, even if I think people should wear a disguise when they buy it so no one sees them. ha!

I'm SO excited for that Witchcraft book! I hope you can make some cute things from it!!

Isn't The Other Girl an older release? I think it came out last fall. Is this for the paperback release?

and you know already, I bought the Witch Craft one, too. I think I might make the witch!
