Weekly Dose of Crafts!

So late last week I decided to join my first ever Mystery Knit A Long, it seems like it's going to be a lot of fun! It officially starts tomorrow but I'm waiting for my long cable to arrive before I can start. Here is some information in case you want to join too!

I had my second of three Sock Knitting classes yesterday! We didn't get exactly as far as I think the teacher expected so I stopped back over this morning to get some help with my gusset, I think from here it's going to be smooth sailing!

My mittens are almost done as well! Man these were so easy to make! The only annoying thing was I was trying to get the greens to match up to my first mitten so I did a lot of cutting and reordering of the yarn to try and get it to match up, it's not perfect but oh well! I'm really really happy with these, I think they are one of my favorite things I've made, they just need thumbs now!

Still working a bit here and there on the fingerless mittens for my mom!

I finally decided it was time to try one of the tiny Danger Crafts ornaments! So far it's going pretty good (after a false start last week) my sides are a little messed up part of the way but it's my first little toy so I'll live with it. I love this pattern designer, to see some of her patterns click here, she also has a book coming out in a month or two!

Yarn used:
Knit Picks Palette in a variety of colors

And lastly I'm still working away on this scarf! So a lot of work done but nothing finished!

For more crafty goodness be sure to stop over at WIP Wednesday! And find me on Raverly as mint910.

  2. You did an amazing job on those mittens! Holy crap. And you know I'm so envious of your sock. I need to find a sock class around here once I get further into knitting. Was it hard?

  10. Your first sock is coming along great. The heel turn and gusset pick up is the hardest part, so it should be smooth sailing.

I love the way your mittens turned out.
