It's my plan to watch 30 Rock Season's One and Two by the time it premieres the end of October right after The Office. I've watched about 7 episodes so far and it's hilarious. Tina Fey is a genius.
I'm thinking I might have to go into more detail about the Fall Season at a later point.. but what are you guys watching?
I did! I did! And can I just say EEEEEEEK!
ReplyDeleteI just started watching it this summer, so I just finished the last season the other day. I totally wasn't expecting the proposal and I'm a dork who's always had this fantasy of being proposed to in the rain, so I'm not gonna lie....I screamed a little.
I didn't even realize the fall season was starting and I missed the premiere of Heroes. What I am really waiting for is LOST - which doesn't start til January or something.
ReplyDeleteI've never actually seen The Office... I'm watching CSI: Miami, NCIS, Ghost Hunters, Criminal Minds, Cold Case, The Unit, and I'm also looking forward to Kitchen Nightmares too.
ReplyDeleteI just nominated you for an award here

That was probably the sweetest thing I'd ever seen... way better than under the fireworks (and I kind of can't stand Angela, who I had always liked).
ReplyDeleteAlso, why did Michael rip up the tickets? He was doing so well with her... Aurgh!
Ha! I, like Marie, just nominated you for an award as well (probably the same one!)

To answer your question about the Pennac book's illustrations- Yes, you have a great eye. The illustrations were done by Quentin Blake who is best known for his Roald Dahl pictures. Nicely spotted! :)
ReplyDeleteI second your "SQUEAL!" as well as your "yay!" Such a good episode. The hour format was a little weird, but hey!
ReplyDeleteAlso, did you get a chance to catch the Tide to Go ad? I work for Tide and we had a contest to see who could best spoof the talking stain ad. The winner was John Michael Sy with his ad, "Tide Stain Rap." The other finalists were shown during other shows, but Sy's winning ad aired during the premiere of the Office last night. If you missed it, you can catch it at www.tidetogo.com/ads. If you want to know more about the creator, check out http://www.suntimes.com/business/lazare/1184147,CST-FIN-lew25.article
Hope it's cool that I commented on your blog. :) I just had to second your "squeal!" and "yay!" Haha. If you have any questions, email me!
Thanks!

Taren- Yes! I'm so glad someone else is watching! I had my hands over my mouth and I know I made some sort of noise!!
ReplyDeleteLenore- I sort of lost interest in Heroes. There are so many people and storylines everything seems to take weeks to progress. Maybe someday I'll try again. I've only seen a few episodes of Lost, once that has an ending i'm going to think about watching it on dvd!
ladytink_534-You should try the Office. It took me two tries to like it but now I love it! There isn't much overlap in our tv viewing but between us we have a good number of shows covered! ;)
Marie-Thank you again Marie!
Heather- Yes this was better. I actually for once wasn't expecting it to happen! Michael is crazy! I love it!
s.krishna- Thank you again too!
Marie- Thanks for getting back to me on this, the image was little but I knew it had to be the same illustrator!
Mandy-I do think the 30 minute episodes are usually stronger but I'm not complaining! I actually only saw the very beginning of the ad and then went to do something else :( I do remember it though! I really like what companies are doing these days with user generated media and viral marketing, it is much more appealing than regular everyday commercials. I'll definitely have to use your link to watch the whole thing! It's definitely cool you commented on my blog, thanks for stopping by!
