This Year In Movies: January

This month I watched

Napoleon Dynamite- Me and my sister watch this about once a year. It cracks us up everytime!

Camp Rock- Actually better than I expected, everything was cute besides the oldest Jonas's hair, that was just distracting.

Sweet Land- Sweet movie!

The Wackness- This movie was awesome! I heard about it from a friend and just knew I had to see it. Definitely will be watching again!

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button-
Wow. This was like the greatness of two movies. I loved it. Just bought a book of F. Scott Fitzgerald stories that has the short story in it so I can read it as well. I'm surprised I had never read it seeing as The Great Gatsby is one of my favorite books!

Towelhead- Interesting. Never made up my mind about this one. Anyone else see it?

Hancock- Fun-ish.

My Best Friend's Girl- This was pretty funny!

Aa Ab Laut Chalen- Loved this one minus some ugly 90s fashions.

The Duchess- Ok, made me kind of angry but I think that was kind of the point.

The Promotion- Quirky, totally random cast of actors.

Tropic Thunder- Even randomer cast of actors and collaborators. Pretty stupid actually, not sure if that's a good stupid or a bad stupid, probably a bad stupid.

The Ultimate Gift- Sweet movie that made me a little teary eyed.

Strange Wilderness- Stupider than I could have imagined! :/

Question, how would you feel about possibly one actual movie review a week, would that interest you?

  1. I would love to see a regular movie review. I am a movie nut though that passion has taken a backseat to reading the past few months.

Review the classics that some of these younguns don't know, Hughes stuff. You know, the Molly era lol

  2. Wow ... I can't believe how many of these I haven't seen! A movie review would be great. I also love movies and I really feel that books and movies are just different ways to do the same thing - explore lives that you don't lead.

We just watched Hamlet 2. Have you seen that one?

Oooh I'd love it if you talked about movies more. A lot of the ones you watched this month I've never even heard of, so that'd be great to hear about new ones.

  9. I'd love to see more movie reviews...I never know what to watch.

I love Napolean Dynamite too. It's been playing in re-runs on E! and you can start anywhere in the middle of it and still be laughing within minutes. It's so random!

  16. A movie review a week would be great - then I wouldn't feel quite so much like I was blatantly ripping you off. =)

I was really torn about Towelhead - honestly, it made me so uncomfortable, but there were moments that were very good. I'm interested in the book, also - isn't the book always better??
