I won this from Free Book Friday Teen! And it's signed!
Take the Reins (Canterwood Crest #1) by Jessica Burkhart
Geek Charming by Robin Palmer
Wake by Lisa McMann
You can't say blogs don't work. I kept reading about the Canterwood Crest books recently and today I checked out the website for the series here. I needed to have it! And check out the Cover Story for Take the Reins over at Melissa Walker's blog here. The covers are gorgeous! Geek Charming I featured on Waiting On Wednesday a few weeks ago and Wake recently came out in paperback so I had to get it!
Killing Yourself To Live by Chuck Klosterman
The Dashwood Sisters' Secrets of Love by Rosie Rushton
Irish Girls About Town
Make Him Look Good by Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez
Carol told me about the 3-day $1 sale Barnes and Noble was having so I had to head over to my local store, these are the books I found!
Saturday:

The Makedown is for review, this book sounds great! And Girl Most Likely to is from Bookmooch!

I hate you for getting The Season. :(
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet!! Thank you for blogging about TTR! And I'll pass your compliments to my designer. :)
ReplyDeleteYay for all the books you got. I think The Makedown sounds fun as well. I just read an interview with the author a few days ago.
ReplyDelete-Lauren
Your B&N had a better selection of books for the 3-day sale. :P
ReplyDeleteThe only $1 YA book that I found was Bittersweet Sixteen.
P.S. You did some really good books! :)
I have Sixteen and I haven't read it yet. The others all look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThis is always one of my favorite posts to read every week!
ReplyDeleteI have Bittersweet Sixteen -I got it from Goodwill because the cover was pretty. I've read Go Ask Alice, though. It does for drugs what Twilight did for premarital sex.
You know I love these posts and always smile when I see your creative arrangements!
ReplyDeleteHey, Alea. I have a lookalike I wanted to point out to you, but I don't have your email and I don't know how to embed pictures into comments. But the lookalike is The Third Angel by Alice Hoffman and the cover of Secondhand Serenade's cd, A Twist in My Story.

There was a 3 day $1 sale!? I didn't even know. This is the one time I can take relief in the fact that my B&N has a crappy clearance section already. At least that's what I assume applied to the $1 sale. If not, well then I'm mad. lol
ReplyDeleteAt least your Barnes & Noble had more than one good book for a dollar! My selection stunk.
ReplyDeleteThe Season? Sweet!
And Go Ask Alice is a classic. I even talked my sister into reading it.
The Makedown sounds interesting. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! You make me feel like such a lightweight. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI just read Perfect Chemistry last weekend and I LOVED it! I am looking forward to seeing what you think. Have you seen the rap video for the book?
ReplyDeleteI love how you arrange the books : D it's getting nicer every week. I wanna steal some of them haha.
ReplyDeleteAs usual I love your posts and your adore how you post your books, very creative. You have also been blessed by the book goddess and have an amazing selection of books.
ReplyDeleteHere's to a great week and happy reading :)
Go Ask Alice is a classic. Would love to hear your views on it later. I read just before or during high school. At my age, the years blur.
ReplyDeleteWow!!! You did great this week. I'm trying to cut back on buying and accumulating. Ha, ha.
ReplyDeleteI'm so very jealous! I didn't get ANY books this week. Geek Charming looks great!
ReplyDeletewow! i feel like i say that every week, i probably do, but wow!
ReplyDeleteQuite a haul this week. I go through weeks when I buy a ton of books and then the next week nothing. Those nothing weeks don't occur very often though.
ReplyDeleteCan I say I'm jealous? Geek Charming? The Season?
ReplyDeleteI got Canterwood Crest, too! It looks amazing!
Go Ask Alice is amazing. I read it years ago and now I kind of want to go read it again. And I agree with blogs working I really want to read Take the Reigns after all the press online and I don't think its something I would normally read. And how do you do those book arrangements. They are amazing.
ReplyDeleteI requested for the Makedown to review also! But I am unsure if my message was received...
