Pretty Little Devils by Nancy Holder
Paperback Reissue
Amazon.com:
Watch out! These babysitters will stab you in the back. Everything changes for Hazel Stone when she’s noticed by Sylvia, queen bee of their high school’s popular girls, the Pretty Little Devils. Sylvia invites Hazel to one of the group’s famous soirees—held at the site of one of their babysitting jobs. Hazel couldn’t be more thrilled! But what she doesn’t know is that popularity comes with a price. Some people can become jealous of a girl’s newfound status— deadly jealous. One of these babysitting babes is a killer! Hazel has to figure out which one, before they turn their backstabbing ways on her.
I can sometimes be a fan of a graphic cover but not with these here. I think they emphasis the "devil" too much. If you can't tell I rather like the paperback reissue. Although the girl's hair is a little awkward over her eye. But that one says to me, babysitter with an edge. I like it! I like it so much I want to buy it when it comes out!

None actually, I don't like any of the covers, may be the Red one might look attractive in person.
ReplyDeleteI like the paperback cover much better too.

I like the first hardcover. It just POPS! I'm not a fan of the paperback reissue. Yikes.
ReplyDeletePaperback reissue. The hardcover/paperback ones look kind of... boring. And I agree, the 1st ones only emphasis is the devil aspects.
ReplyDeleteI like the paperback reissue. The other two just seem too plain to me.
ReplyDeleteThe first, for sure.
ReplyDeleteI love the red hardcover for the devil tie-in, but in terms of the story, the paperback is better.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on this one Alea!
ReplyDeleteNope - I like the devil image ones better. The paperback doesn't stand out to me - just another book about a chick.
ReplyDeleteHorrible colors! Actually I think I would prefer the last one!
ReplyDeleteI don't like any of the covers myself, though I LOVE that girl's hair and I want it. heh.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest I'm not that crazy about any of them but I'd have to go with the hot pink one.
