This Week In Books or Say Hello to the Cuttlefish!
Monday:
Wanted by Sara Shepard
I had about 50 or so pages left in Heartless so I broke down and decided to get the hardcover of Wanted even though hardcovers are icky. Took me two stores to find it, I almost started to panic but then there it was and I was done with it by the next afternoon!
Tuesday:
Knitgrrl 2 by Shannon Okey
This sort of reminded me of my Crochet (Klutz) book, very simple so I thought it might be able to help me conquer knitting in the round!
The Care and Taming of a A Rogue by Suzanne Enoch
Never Resist Temptation by Miranda Neville
It Happened One Night by Various
Love's Legacy by Various
These were used from 2 different stores.
Rest of the week:
Ghostgirl: Lovesick by Tonya Hurley
Heart to Heart by Lurlene McDaniel
The Space Between Trees by Katie Williams
Wildwing by Emily Whitman
The White Horse Trick by Kate Thompson
The Goblin Gate by Hilari Bell
My Dangerous Duke by Gaelen Foley
For review, most surprises!
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
For an upcoming blog tour, boy is it LONG!

But the Diana Gabaldon books are SO GOOD. I was just thinking the other day that I need to reread the earlier ones so I can catch up.
ReplyDeleteYou don't like hardbacks? How come?
ReplyDeleteI love them myself, I'm always disappointed when books I love are only available in paperback since they don't look good for very long (a couple of reads and the spine starts to bend, etc). Though I still buy masses of paperbacks since they're so much cheaper.
The Space Between the Trees is so very cool looking. Let us know what you think when you get the chance to read it. Good luck with that mountain of books!
ReplyDeleteYou're brave to do Outlander for a blog tour! Another great week in books!
ReplyDeleteLanta- Because they are so stiff and heavy and poke me in the hands! I rather a book mold to my hand that force me to mold to it. I much prefer trade paperbacks!
ReplyDeleteyou got some gret books...im a preferer of paperback myself although hardback looks better
ReplyDeleteyou got some good sounding books this week.
ReplyDeleteOutlander was really good - I just finished it this week.
ReplyDeleteI'm really surprised that you don't like hardcover books, i find it adds a whole other dimension to covers :)
ReplyDeleteGood Golly Miss Holly- That's true, for instance The Space Between Trees. But for comfort they just won't do for me. And also I like a cover to be on a cover instead of on a dust jacket lol!
ReplyDeletevery excited about space between trees - on pre order and hoping amazon get it to me soon - I'll be interested to see what you think of it - on the note of hardback books I literally can't get enough of them if I had the money I'd replace all of my paperbacks with hardbacks
ReplyDeleteOOH nice books! I haven't gotten the chance to read WANTED yet but I'm excited for it! :) Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of good reads :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
I hope you LOVE Gabaldon -- the only romance-type series I ever fell for.
ReplyDeletelol. Outlander is long, but it is so good! Hope you enjoy all of the books you received this week. Happy reading! :)
ReplyDeleteGood selection this week: Happy Reading! Here is my IMMB if you want a peek: http://blkosiner.blogspot.com/2010/06/immb-9.html
ReplyDeleteI'm curious to see what you think about Outlander. I'm still on the fence, partly because of how long it is.
ReplyDeleteOutlander: long but GOOOOD. Sigh... I am not up to date on the sequels though.
