GIVEAWAY: Signed Copy of Dull Boy!

So I bought this at the Teen Author Carnival all the way back in May when I was in New York City for BEA! And it's a real goodie too because I had Sarah Cross sign it for the lucky winner!

In this post you can see her signing it and here's my review and interview with her!

If you need a reminder here's the blurb:

From Amazon.com:

What do you do if you can deadlift a car, and you spend your nights flying to get away from it all? If you’re fifteen-year-old Avery Pirzwick, you keep that information to yourself. When you’re a former jock turned freak, you can’t afford to let the secret slip. But then Avery makes some friends who are as extraordinary as he is. He realizes they’re more than just freaks—together, maybe they have a chance to be heroes. First, though, they have to decide whether to trust the mysterious Cherchette, a powerful would be mentor whose remarkable generosity may come at a terrible price.

Onto the rules!

To win a signed hardcover copy of Dull Boy leave a comment sharing a super power you never would wish to have!

For 1 additional entry blog (sidebar and twitter are fine) about this giveaway and leave a separate comment telling me you have done so.

The giveaway is open to addresses within the U.S.

Please leave a way for me to contact you if you are the winner!

The giveaway will end August 16th at 11:59 pm Central Time.

  1. I'm not sure, but I don't think I'd like the ability to mind read - it would take all the fun out of conversations, etc.

  2. I never would wish to have the power of seeing the future. Almost everybody things it would be awesome, but I don´t is awesome knowing how your family will die and when... And is the same if you try to avoid the death, because you will still know how and when.

I guess the super power i wish i would never have would be the ability to read minds, i mean sure it's cool to be able to read someone's mind at first but then you get to the part where people don't like you and stuff that could defineatly lower ur self esteme and it makes you able to cheat without meaning to

I would have said the ability to read minds, because man, some people have crazy thoughts, but then I thought of something worse.

I would see the ability to see through things. Imagine when you're going through puberty and you inherit this power. You wouldn't have a lot control over it, so then what if it decides to kick in all of a sudden when you're staring at some super fat, uber hairy to the max, sweaty guy?!

I would not want the super power of being able to absorb others' powers. Not being able to touch somebody else for fear of hurting them would be scary.
