Favorite Books of 2009

I stressed out over this for weeks (didn't do a list last year) and then realized I had given only 9 books I read last year 5 stars, so problem solved. They are in chronological order because I'm weird like that. I'm pretty sure these were all released in the United States in the year 2009. Click the titles to read my review for each. Kind of funny how there would be months without a 5 star book and then a few clustered together. Also it's very apparent I read a lot of Young Adult literature this year!

The Season by Sarah MacLean
5 stars given on March 1st of 2009
Genre: Young Adult Historical Romance

Going Too Far by Jennifer Echols
5 stars given on March 15th of 2009
Genre: Young Adult

Willow by Julia Hoban
5 stars given on March 17th of 2009
Genre: Young Adult
Of all of my favorites this is my favorite-favorite!

Petronella Saves Nearly Everyone: The Entomological Tales of Augustus T. Percival by Dene Low

Lovestruck Summer by Melissa Walker

  12. The Season was also one of my favorites, although I didn't put it on my list beacause I read an early copy in late 2008. I'm really hoping for a sequel someday!

  17. There are a couple on this list that I've got to get to reading out of my TBR pile. Then a couple I need to actually get to add to it, haha. I'm debating on The Happiness Project but am leaning more and more towards it.

    Great list!
