The After Life by Daniel Ehrenhaft
Becoming Chloe by Catherine Ryan Hyde
For this one my vote is going to go to the first cover, I like the crispness of the image and the title treatment and background. I really dislike how the image is blurred in the second but I do like the type treatment used.
Which is your favorite?
It's got to be from the same shoot at the one above, though in this one it looks like perhaps the person has nail polish on their toes!
I definitely like the photo in the top one, but I like the way the title is written in the bottom one.
ReplyDeleteI take pictures of my feet like that all the time!
ReplyDeleteEW! I don't like either one. Feet are gross.
ReplyDeleteI ditto the comment above mine since it's what I was going to say. Ew! I dislike feet very much.
ReplyDeleteThe feet in the second two are just...ew. The model must not have been told her feet would be photographed on the shoot so she did nothing to prepare them. I prefer the first one by a mile.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the title on the first one, but I like the photo better and I love the map reflection on the windscreen.
ReplyDeleteThe bottom two are absolutely the same photo with different cropping. I'm not sure I'm crazy about any of them. The middle one, if I had to pick.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I like the first one much better then the other too. The first set of feet looked well kept and the other two don't.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the look alikes. I love seeing this on your blog.
I def like the top one best although I am a bigger fan of pictures of feet when there are shoes on them. I'm with Sharon, feet are kinda gross
ReplyDeleteI like the first cover (and feet!) WAY better. But I like the cute falling daisies on the last cover. I have to agree, the feet on the other two are...yuck!
ReplyDeleteabsolutely prefer the crispness of that first cover.
ReplyDeleteIt's getting creepy, all these...coverly similarities out there.
These are great!
ReplyDeleteI like the first, b/c it is nicer..but the second one just seems more REAL, you know? so i don't know...both are cool.

Seriously, the feet in the second picture totally gross me out. What is going on with the toe next to the big toe? So gross. I'd prefer a cover without feet on it! :)
ReplyDeleteThe first one is definitely the best.
ReplyDeletethe first one is fantastic...i like that the toe nails are painted.
ReplyDeleteThe top one really has a better feel than the other ones.
ReplyDeleteI actually kind of like the second one. :)
ReplyDeleteBut maybe that's got to do with the fact that I read that book, and it was excellent.
I agree with all the "ew, feet" comments, but the first is definitely my favorite. The red polish is so cute!
ReplyDeleteYeah i have to go with the first one too. I've got one for you - it's feet, but outside of the car!

I love the top one - the map reflected in the windshield, the polish on the toes carefree on the road. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteI gave you an award so go fill it out missy! :P
ReplyDeleteHehe. I agree, not really a fan of feet but those first ones look so so so much better!
ReplyDeleteAs always, thanks for your input!
I know someone who knows the author who wrote After Life.
ReplyDelete-Senfaye :)
This one's sorta similiar:http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/images/n47/n238873.jpg
ReplyDeleteI like the ones with the red nail polish.
More painted toes... Is it the same feet? (I think it might be.)
ReplyDeleteI meant, the same as The After Life!
ReplyDeleteOh and while I'm at it, here's another one!
