Trick or Treat Witches! (From A of Pretty Little Liars)
Today the doorbell rang and as always I jumped (I don't know why the doorbell makes me jump!) and outside was a little box and I had a feeling that it was from A. I had no idea what was inside.

Wanted (Pretty Little Liars #8)
**WARNING SPOILERS FROM PREVIOUS BOOKS**Amazon.com:
In Rosewood, majestic estates sprawl for acres, and Tiffany toggle bracelets dangle from every girl's wrist. But not all that glitters is gold, and the town harbors secrets darker than anyone could imagine—like the truth about what really happened the night Alison DiLaurentis went missing. . . .
Back in middle school, Ali plucked Emily, Hanna, Aria, and Spencer from obscurity and turned them into the beautiful, popular girls everyone wanted to be. Ali was the best friend they ever had. But she also made them do terrible things and taunted them with their worst secrets. Now, three years later, all their questions about Ali have finally been answered and they can put this awful chapter of their lives behind them. Or so they think.
Not every story has a happy ending, especially when four pretty little liars have done so many wicked things. In the dramatic conclusion of Sara Shepard's bestselling Pretty Little Liars series, Emily, Hanna, Aria, and Spencer could get everything they've ever wanted—unless A has one more horrifying twist in store.
By the time you close this book for the final time, you will know all, well all the author wanted you to know. It starts with a shocking revelation and that carries through the rest of the book. I sort of wish this would have happened in the previous book or closer to the end of this book because it basically takes over the entire book.
By the time of the big reveal, of who A is and who Ali’s killer is I didn’t really see any suspects left except for one, and oh guess what, it was them! So while it wasn’t so shocking by the outcome there was a little twist in there I hadn’t expected at all that put a whole new perspective on the series! I really liked that!
Overall reading this series has been one of the best reading experiences I've had in a long while, I don’t remember being so addicted to a series, I think I read them in about 2 weeks. Great stuff!

Heartless (Pretty Little Liars #7) by Sara Shepard
**WARNING SPOILERS FROM PREVIOUS BOOKS**Amazon.com:
Four gorgeous girls are telling very ugly stories.
First Emily, Aria, Hanna, and Spencer claimed they found a dead body in the woods behind Spencer's house, only to have it vanish without a trace. Then, when the same woods went up in flames, they swore they saw someone who's supposed to be dead rise from the ashes. And even after all that, the pretty little liars are still playing with fire. Call me heartless, but it's about time someone shut these liars up for good. After all, nobody likes a girl who cries wolf—least of all me. . . .
-A
Heartless finds the girls all exploring their own individual hunches in the disappearance of Ali and who A is. My favorite storyline is Emily’s who goes undercover as a Amish girl to try to find out some information that A has hinted at and least favorite I think was Aria going to a seance. But one by one they all knock suspects off the list or become even more sure of what the answer to the mystery is.
When reading this book, my mind was boggled, there was only one book left and so many many things were still open ended I had no idea where the story was going! All I knew was A was EVIL! It's definitely as addicting as the rest of the series and ends with another great cliffhanger!

**WARNING SPOILERS****POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR BOOKS**

Khy: http://hollywoodcrush.mtv.com/
Alea: I'm wondering if the show will condense A into one person instead of 2 like in the books? So maybe A will only be the second A from the books?
Khy: Hmm, maybe, but they do have the rest of the season to fill, so? They've got 12 more after the finale, so what else would they discuss?
Alea: True, maybe we'll get as maybe A's as season lol! Guesses on who A might be on the TV show?
Alea: Yeah that would be kind of stupid I think. If it's Lucas I would cry. But Lucas might actually make sense.... no can't be him!
Khy: Nooo don't curse it!
Carol: I'm not sure it could be Lucas.
Alea: Can we agree it's not Toby though, the last episode definitely made it seem like he was dead, what do you think? Is he dead?
Khy: I hope not! I like him/Emily better than Emily/Maya-- Maya is so annoying on the show!
Carol: Maybe Toby is in the hospital? Hopefully he isn't dead; I liked him! And yes, Maya is so annoying!
Alea: You hope he's not dead or you hope he's not A?
Khy: Hope he's not dead. Not like Emily would date him now anyway, but eh.
Alea: Maya is sort of needy in the books and on the show I think. I want to know what his tattoo means still!
Khy: Me too!
Carol: Same here!
Alea: I like how they are making the show stand on it's own from the book, keeps us that have read the books on our toes, not sure if I like having a new A though. The reason better be good!
Khy: It better!
Carol: Hopefully it won't be cheesy or the obvious person.
Khy: What do you think of Sean/Aria? So much better than Sean/Hanna
Alea: I like that Aria put him in this place instead of being like oh ok let's do this. So if/when they do get together it won't be as stupid... i think? I don't know what i mean.
Khy: I think I get what you're saying. xD
Carol: I still find Sean a bit boring, but maybe it's because he's with Hannah? I'd had to see him interact more with Aria before I can tell who he's better off with.
Khy: I'm surprised the Golden Orchid thing has not come up again. In the book that was a big deal!
Alea: Yes you are right, bizarre!
Khy: Only one mention since it happened, right? And that was 2 episodes ago-- do you think they'll bring it up again?
Alea: I thought this week they said something about being photographed for the paper, it just keeps getting mentioned in passing, it seems like it might be over. O_0
Carol: Yes, Hannah mentioned that she knew Spencer plagiarised and her parents knew and still let her be photographed and that was it. I wanted more drama to come out of that!
Khy: Weeeird.

BEST/WORST SCENES:
Khyrinthia: Can I share worst scene? The one where Sean was fake trying to talk the girl into sex was O_O
Alea: HAHA!
Carol: Lol yeah that was so...odd
Alea: I liked A's messages this week, the fortune cookies and the tarot card! They are finally getting a bit more creative!
Carol: Yes and they're better worded, too.
Khyrinthia: The messages were much better! I think it's always creepier when they don't show up on a phone or computer. Makes me wonder how A is getting the messages to them
Alea: Yes like that they just walked by and maybe brushed shoulders with A!
Carol: Totally, it makes A more real and creepy cus you don't know just exactly who it is.
Lucy Hale said in an interview that they want to keep the book fans guessing so they made some changes. I'm not so sure it will be whoever it was in the books.
Alea: What did you think of Toby's tattoo? I like they are going away from just making Jenna and Toby creepy and hinting more at their secret.
Khyrinthia: The scene where his tattoo was first revealed was kinda odd. Like his shirt's riding up just enough? xD
Alea: Yes, totally very staged looking. Do you think the tattoo is really what they think it is, the date of Ali's disappearance?
Carol: Yes, all throughout the dance his shirt is long enough but then at that scene it rides up.
Khyrinthia: No, probably some random thing.
Carol: I think the tattoo is something else. Maybe Jenna is holding something over his head because they're step-siblings?
Alea: Yeah she seems more in charge on the tv show. What did you think of Melissa's hair during the Homecoming scene, I thought it was hilariously big!
Khyrinthia: Her hair looked horrible! That's all I noticed in those scenes. xD
Carol: Bride of Frankenstein!
Alea: It was like an 80s flashback or something! I really liked the ending! I guess we are supposed to think Emily is going to get killed, but we know better! But does A actually know who's going to bite the dust? Very fun, they have had some great ending scenes on the show!
Carol: I wonder who is supposed to die.
Khyrinthia: Aria and Ezra in the booth was awkward. Do you think they're going to make her keep chasing him?
Carol: I hope that in the next episodes they aren't lusting and wallowing over each other.
Alea: That's a good question, in that interview you sent me Khy it makes it seem like he'll be sticking around longer than in the books. But this episode also left it open to the possibility of what happens in the books, her going out with someone else....
Khyrinthia: I like Aria/Sean better. Sean and Hanna are so awkward together
Alea: I really like Aria's personality! It will be interesting to see where they go with her!! And did you notice when Emily slapped Toby it made him bleed? Either she caught him with a ring or something was messed up there.
Carol: Well Sean goes better with Bella or a girl cutout since he's so boring. But Aria should go out with someone different. I think it was either a scratch slap or they messed up.
Alea: Yeah I was like what? Why is he bleeding?!
Khyrinthia: He bled?
Carol: Yeah on his left cheek.
Khyrinthia: I don't remember that. Guess that shows how much I care. Blood gets my attention, I don't think there has really been blood on the show yet has there been?

Wicked (Pretty Little Liars #5) by Sara Shepard
**WARNING SPOILERS FROM PREVIOUS BOOKS**Amazon.com:
In idyllic Rosewood, Pennsylvania, four very pretty girls just can't help but be bad. . . .
Hanna will do anything to be Rosewood's queen bee. Spencer's digging up her family's secrets. Emily can't stop thinking about her new boyfriend. And Aria approves a little too strongly of her mom's taste in men.
Now that Ali's killer is finally behind bars, the girls think they're safe. But those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it. And they should know by now that I'm always watching. . . .-A
I found Wicked to be a bit like a new beginning, a slightly calmer entrance into the second half of the series. That's not to say there weren't things going on, but it didn't have me basically tearing out the pages to get to the end like the previous two books (Perfect and Unbelievable). I guess knowing who A was, was enough to calm me down, temporarily.
So now we have a suspect in Ali's murder who is behind bars, but was it really him or is the real killer still out there? I thought he was still out there, but you be the judge. I thought the introduction of Hanna's soon to be stepsister Kate as a regular fixture in her household to be a great renewal of Hanna's plotline. Wicked is also the introduction to a semi-bizarre and almost distracting plot about Spencer's family that spans the rest of the books. I feel like the plot was given more importance then it really deserved, I really enjoyed it, but in the end it just distracted from the bigger picture.
Most interestingly, this book introduces another A, I know ANOTHER A?! It seems like it would be cheesy but this new A is even scarier than the first! And because of that the book ends in a big old cliffhanger!

Pretty Little Liars Secret Keepers Game Video Answer From Ashley Benson!

"Put something in your mouth besides your foot."
**WARNING SPOILERS**

BEST/WORST LINES
Alea: Yes I liked...
Carol: bad ones?
Alea: "Put something in your mouth besides your foot."
Khyrinthia: "Have a buttercream" was the best.
Alea: Spencer said something about Toby pulling off squirrel heads or something, that was kinda funny too.
Carol: "Do you like the color?" when Jenna "feels" Hanna staring at her.
Khyrinthia: I feel like they are trying to make the Jenna scenes creepy, but they're really just funny.
Like with that quote.
Alea: Totally.
Carol: Yup.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Alea: I thought overall the episode was one of the weakest yet.
Khyrinthia: Boring episode, needs more Mona and A.
And Tennis Boy!
He has nice hair.
Alea: I want something really shocking, that gives me the chills!
Carol: Agree with you Khy. And no more Ken.
Khyrinthia: Shocking, yes!
Alea: We need more action and less talk!
Carol: More messages (that are better worded), more stalking, and more drama.
Alea: Yes!
Khyrinthia: More non romantic relationship drama, I hope.
Carol: Yes.

Unbelievable (Pretty Little Liars #4) by Sara Shepard
**WARNING SPOILERS FROM PREVIOUS BOOKS**Amazon.com:
Four pretty little liars' charmed lives have turned into living nightmares.
Emily's been shipped off to Iowa to live with her überconservative cousins. Aria's boyfriend is behind bars—because of her. Spencer's afraid she was involved in Ali's murder. But Hanna's fate is far worse: She's clinging to life in the hospital because she knew too much.
If these girls don't start listening to me, Hanna's going to look like the lucky one.
-A
Finally, some damn answers! Not all of them of course because there are 4 more books in the series but enough to briefly satisfy. I love how in Unbelievable Emily is shipping off to live with relatives (because her family is basically appalled by her, nice ones they are). I wondered how that would work, how she could still be part of the story but she really still was. I think in the previous book and a bit in this one, the "Rosewood Stalker" is mentioned a lot and then fizzles out, I wish that plotline would have turned into something more. In the end it just got roped into something else.
The aftermath of Hanna's hit and run leaves her with some gaps in her memory. That plotline in Perfect was INSANE! I was freaking out when I was reading it. Along with Perfect, this book really ramps up the plot, you know you are so close to answers you just have to keep going and going!
A few red herrings were in place to help the revelation of A (yes we finally get to find out!) more surprising. But honestly my suspicions about who A was from earlier in the book were proven right so for me nothing too shocking, but I was glad to finally know and know WHY!
So while this book wraps up one mystery it leaves open another and there is far far more to come!

Pretty Little Liars Secret Keepers Game Recap

So as some of you know, from the end of May until mid-June I was part of the ABC Family Pretty Little Liars Secret Keepers Game. They invited me to participate, sent me a iphone free of charge to play the game on (which I still get to keep now that the game is over) and the fun began.
I thought it would be fun to recap all my challenges for those of you that were interested to see what kinds of tasks I had to complete! I also didn't post a lot of pictures originally so I'm going to share some more here, I thought the game materials came packaged extremely creatively. The phone, phone accessories and secret object came in this really cute box, but the box also contained dirt so I had to dig the contents out!
Ok onto the actual game, I played as Hanna. And all of my challenges came via text message to my iphone from A. I actually started the game a few days after everyone else since I was at BEA, so I didn't technically play the first 2 challenges, though I did end up doing them anyways! One really tricky thing was I was never sure how much time I had to complete a challenge so I tried to do so ASAP. Sometimes A would post hints or updates on her facebook page but it wasn't every time!
CHALLENGE 1
May 25th 4:59 PM
Hanna! You took your mother’s necklace and lost it at a party. I suggest you replace it before she finds out it’s missing. You know the one I’m talking about, you took a photo of it. Lucky for you, I saw one just like it on Craigslist, Philly. Maybe you should find it and send an email asking how many carats it is. In fact, you definitely should. Otherwise, I tell everyone.
-A
This was definitely one of the hardest challenges, I looked around on Craiglist and couldn't find anything so enlisted the help of Gail who's friend was able to find it apparently in a few minutes! I wish I was that good!
CHALLENGE 2
May 27th 2:59 PM
Oh, Hanna. You are so desperate to be me that you think the hottest guy at school is into you. Fat chance. The only person you got a Valentine from last year was your own mother! I’m sure your friends would love to see it - didn’t you take a picture of it? Find it and share it with our facebook group or I’ll let them know your ego is as big as your old dress size.
-A
So this one was simple enough, once I figured out how to access Facebook on the iphone, I posted the photo (which was on my phone) to my own facebook wall, pulled it on my desktop and posted it to the group. Done and done. Since I wasn't actually playing during challenges 1 and 2 I never heard back if I passed them, let's just say I did! :P
CHALLENGE 3
May 30th 9:14 PM
I know how you got your hands on that math final Hanna. Flirting with seniors sure can be rewarding, huh? Now you have to pass my math test. Take the number of PLL twitter followers and subtract the number of tweets. Multiply that number by the premiere date (hint: mm/dd/yy) and text me back the answer. Otherwise, I talk.
-A
Honestly if I hadn't asked for a few opinions before submitting my answer I would have gotten it wrong! I decided to add up the month, date, and year for some stupid reason and was told by everyone that was not correct, so luckily I listened to them! Since this is when I officially started playing A responded back to let me know that I passed the challenge, see my answer below.
May 30th 9:47 PM
109518810. Twitter followers keep increasing.
A's RESPONSE
May 31st 8:33 AM
Hanna - A+ on your math skills. You didn’t need to cheat on that final... clearly you do have a brain after all. Your dirty little secret is safe with me.
-A
CHALLENGE 4
June 1st 4:09 PM
Seems like you’re not a fan of mommy’s new boyfriend. Why don’t I help you break them up? Make her think he’s cheating. Send her flowers from him, but put the wrong woman’s name on the card. Remember Hanna: no flowers, no secret.
-A
So here the actual phone comes into play. After confirming with several people over a few names (I hadn't read the books at this point) I wrote myself several scripts and called and left a message for the flower shop, which I found the number for in my phone. You could totally tell I was nervous and reading from my script but luckily, I passed!
A's RESPONSE
June 3rd 10:21 AM
What a beautiful bouquet your mom got... too bad she threw them in the trash. I’m guessing Officer Wilden won’t be around much longer. Nice work - my lips are sealed.
-A
CHALLENGE 5
June 3rd 11:03 AM
You steal fashion magazines from the store every month and flirt your way out of it. Maybe your friends will help you get out of this one. Get 13 of them to submit stories about how they’ve used flirting to get out of trouble and write them in the message board on http://abcfamily.go.com/shows/pretty-little-liars. Have them write your name somewhere so that you get the credit you deserve.
-A
Oh boy this one was hard. If you follow me on twitter you probably remember me annoying and begging everyone to help me out with this. Luckily you all came through, I shut up on twitter and passed the challenge! You can see the message board here.
CHALLENGE 6
June 5th 6:30 PM
What’s up, Hanna? Let me guess - your dress size! Now that you’ve lied, everyone thinks your two sizes smaller than you really are. I’d hate for everyone to think you’re a big fat liar so let’s try this: plan an ugly outfit on polyvore and share the link with our facebook group - let them know it’s your new style or I’ll share your not-so-little-secret.
-A
This one was simple and a lot of fun. Though since I couldn't admit that I was intentionally making an ugly outfit, my aunt apparently actually started questioning my sanity when she saw it on Facebook, which I thought was hilarious! You can see what I cooked up here.
Over the weekend A kept us guessing as to if we passed challenges 5 and 6 but finally she responded!
A's RESPONSE TO CHALLENGE 5
June 7th 1:04 PM
Hey Hanna. Since you managed to get your friends to fess up to their flirty ways, I’ll keep this secret on the down low - at least for now.
-A
A's RESPONSE TO CHALLENGE 6
June 8th 4:04 PM
Hanna, that outfit on polyvore was so hideous, well done, I’ll keep your BIG secret - but people aren’t blind; they won’t be able to ignore the size of your lies for much longer.
-A
A also checked in to make sure we remembered Pretty Little Liars was premiering that night, I had a feeling that the premiere would be part of a challenge and boy was I right!
Hello darlings. Just wanted to remind you all to watch the premiere of Pretty Little Liars tonight at 8/7 c on the ABCFamily cable channel - like you could forget! I know it’s weird to watch yourself on TV, but this is one show you don’t want to miss.
-A
CHALLENGE 7
June 8th 6:14 PM
Ok Hanna, remember that box I sent you? Well, besides the phone, you should have found a little something extra inside. An object. Before it was in your hands, it was here in Rosewood. Your mission is to watch the premiere tonight and tell me what scene you think it could have been from. This one can be tricky so I suggest you have your readers watching out for it too.
-A
Dear god was this a hard challenge. My object was a little vile of red glitter, which I had kept secret until that point. I actually interpreted the challenge a bit differently than A and first submitted this answer:
June 8th 9:10 PM
The vile of red glitter could have been from the scene when Emily goes to Maya’s house for the first time and sees Ali’s things on the curb. It’s in the boxes of Ali’s things!
And then I happened to check A's facebook page and saw this message:
Your exact object won't be in the show, because obviously I had to shrink some down to size to fit them in your boxes. So don't get to worked up about that. Just remember who you are, and that your objects correspond to that.
-A
I freaked out because I figured, well there, I finally failed one. But I couldn't let it go so I rewatched all the Hanna parts of the premiere, crossed my fingers I had gotten it right this time, and that it would count and submitted this:
June 8th 9:54 PM
Since you are changing your tune and saying it has to correspond to me Hanna. My real answer is the Rosewood Mall Scene and my red glittery nails!
I immediately heard back, which was a relief, but did she mean I had nailed it, or that she was going to accept my second answer... only time would tell!
A's RESPONSE
Nice save Hanna.
-A
MY RESPONSE TO A
I guess nail polish doesn’t go through the mail well. You almost got me that time A.
And instead of finding out if I passed or not I got another challenge, oh the agony!
CHALLENGE 8
June 10th 2:57 PM
Your mom and dad didn’t just grow apart did they? He left you both. You might as well just keep the lie going. Write an article about father’s day on your blog/site and post the link to our facebook group. If you don’t, I’ll tell everyone Daddy’s found a new little girl.
-A
After consulting a few people including Pretty Little Liars expert Khy, you can see what I posted on my blog here.
A's RESPONSE TO CHALLENGE 7
June 14th 10:14 AM
I'm surprised you managed to pull that off. I had that object pretty hidden... at least I thought so. I guess I'll have to keep your secrets safe just a little while longer.
-A
A's RESPONSE TO CHALLENGE 8
June 14th 3:59 PM
I have to admit, even I enjoyed your article. In exchange for that bit of entertainment, I’ll keep your secret.
-A
CHALLENGE 9
June 15th 3:59 PM
Hanna, guess what? The end is near! Not the end of the world - the end of our time together. But before you complete the game, I need you to complete this sentence. Here’s the first part: “Maybe you still think of me as just a friend...” The only way to figure out the second part is to watch tonight’s show.
-A
This wasn't too bad, I just watched Episode 2 with a notepad and wrote my quote down. Done and done, here is what I submitted:
June 15th 9:13 PM
The second part is ... the girl I used to be. Said by Hanna to Sean. Then he kisses her and asks do you kiss your friends like that?
A's RESPONSE TO CHALLENGE 9
June 18th 2:36 PM
Excellent work, Hanna. You can't tell from this text, but I'm beaming. You kept at least 80% of your secrets so now I'm keeping my end of the bargain. As a reward for your good behavior, I am going to let you ask Ashley Benson one question. Start thinking and make it a good one. My people will be contacting you soon via email. Remember, I still know everything.
-A
So yay, looks like I did pretty good! In fact I did so good, I never even got to find out what secrets A had on me, I kinda wish I knew... anyhow, I submitted my question to Ashley Benson, the actress that plays Hanna. I haven't heard back yet but I will be sure to post about it when I do!
I was sad when the game came to an end, I had a TON of fun playing! Hearing from some of the other players that played different characters it seemed like our challenges were similar but different. Others also had to make phone calls and post things to the message boards for different reasons. I'm highly impressed that ABC Family pulled this off and so smoothly too, they did a wonderful job creating something highly original and interactive, I personally find it unforgettable.
So there you have it, the Pretty Little Liars Secret Keeper Game. But my PLL obsession doesn't end there. The morning the show premiered I finished the first book (I had held onto that for like 4 years!) and went onto finish the rest of the books in about 2 weeks. I will have reviews of the whole book series throughout the summer, the first 3 are already up, see the first here. If you like the tv show I would DEFINITELY suggest the books!
Also, fellow PLL fans Khy and Carol and I are doing chat posts about all of the episodes so be sure to check those out this summer as well! You can find part of each chat on each of our blogs, here is the latest for episode 3 and 4.
Hope you enjoyed!

"Ding dong the bitch is dead."
**WARNING SPOILERS**

TV SHOW VS BOOK SERIES
Alea: Yeah she's a little laid back for being a Queen Bee.
Did you notice her outfit at the end of Episode 3 when they are in the woods, seems like something she wouldn't be caught dead in! An off the shoulder sweatshirt and Uggs?!
Khy: For Rosewood that is practically low class. xD
Alea: Yeah it was just weird, really caught me off guard.
Carol: Haha yeah, Khy. Emily is more glamorous in the show and Hanna is laid-back when not in school.
Khy: Speaking of the town, they don't seem to be mentioning that everyone there is insanely rich, like in the books.
Alea: Yeah I guess maybe we are just supposed to assume but it's hard to do so. Like in the books they wear uniforms but on the show they don't so it's not instantly known they go to private school, we don't get that reminder.
Khy: Other things: some characters are barely in the show. Like Mona.
Alea: Agreed but I think in the books she kind of came and went but I agree, like she was in the car with Hanna when she crashed it in the book.
Khy: Jenna, too. I hate when she just walks by and says something and doesn't appear again.
Alea: Yeah I guess they are trying to up her creepy factor.
Khy: She's not creepy, she's just weird.
Carol: Jenna seems more bitter in the show. Like she's mad and resentful towards the girls and Alison even though she doesn't know it was them that made her go blind.
Alea: I think they have watered down A's messages, but I really liked the one she left for Hanna, on the radio as a request. That was good!
Khy: Oooh I liked that one a lot!

Alea: And the lipstick on the mirror was good. I guess the delivery of the messages is better on the show but the words of the messages in the books are better.
Carol: Very true. Those two messages were creepy but it's better worded in the books
Khy: That's true.
I don't like what they're doing with Toby/Emily. It's weird.

Alea: If I remember correctly his smile gives me chills, in a bad way.
Do you think A told Aria's mother about Meredith without blackmailing Aria first (like in the book) as punishment for them blocking A from sending them messages?
Khy: Yeah, I think that was the idea.
I can't wait to see what they do with Aria's mom.
Alea: Yes it will be interesting, since we don't even know if Meredith and Byron are together right now, it will have to veer away from the books.
Carol: Aria's mom seems much nicer in the show than the books so I don't know if she'll kick Aria out of the house like she does in the book.

Perfect (Pretty Little Liars #3) by Sara Shepard
**WARNING SPOILERS FROM PREVIOUS BOOKS**Amazon.com:
In Rosewood, Pennsylvania, four perfect-looking girls aren't nearly as perfect as they seem.
Aria can't resist her forbidden ex. Hanna is on the verge of losing her BFF. Emily is freaking out over a simple kiss. And Spencer can't keep her hands off anything that belongs to her sister.
Lucky me. I know these pretty little liars better than they know themselves. But it's hard keeping all of their secrets to myself. They better do as I say . . . or else!
-A
Perfect is probably my favorite of the Pretty Little Liars series. It was the first book that made me really sit up and say WOW A really means business! A is really out to do some serious damage to these girls. Some big stuff goes down in this book! I love how each book starts with something from the past when Ali was still around, we get to know more and more about her and her very apparent baggage and more and more clues are thrown into the mix.
I'm not sure which book this really starts to come into play but there are some really great instances of creepiness in this series. Like the girls see people in the shadows watching them or crouching by cars. It totally works too, it freaked me out! And there is a Rosewood Stalker on the loose too in this book, I mean it's bad enough we have A but now another stalker too! Or is it? And A starts to keep creepier, leaving the girls notes in places that make it obvious that A had just been standing right by them.
I'll leave you with this, if you find the first two books just ok and are thinking of not continuting to read, at least read through this book and then see how you feel. From about this book on I read about a book a day until the end of the series!

Flawless (Pretty Little Liars #2) by Sara Shepard
*SPOILERS FROM BOOK 1: Pretty Little Liars**Amazon.com:
Spencer stole her sister's boyfriend. Aria is brokenhearted over her English teacher. Emily likes her new friend Maya . . . as much more than a friend. Hanna's obsession with looking flawless is making her sick. And their most horrible secret yet is so scandalous that the truth would ruin them forever.
And why shouldn't I tell? They deserve to lose it all. With every crumpled note, wicked IM, and vindictive text message I send, I'll be taking these pretty little liars down. Trust me, I've got enough dirt to bury them alive.
-A
After reading the series as a whole I can say that Flawless is one of my least favorite in the series, but isn't by any means un-enjoyable. It centers very much on two things, The Jenna Thing which I'm glad we FINALLY get to find out about and Foxy (a ritzy fundraiser event). I guess I was just hoping for more plots. I started to get sick of hearing about these two things.
As with the first book the 4 girls deal with their own personal problems but are still being threatened by A. In this book I found Emily's friendship with Toby (Jenna's brother) pretty interesting. Was he someone she could trust or not? This plot created some great suspense especially towards the end of the book.
While this book wasn't one of my favorites in the series it laid a lot of groundwork for the upcoming books.

"New girl who moved into dead girl's house..."
**WARNING SPOILERS**
SUMMARY:Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily all thought that Ali was sending them those mysterious texts, but since Ali is found dead, now they're wondering who is threatening them with their secrets. It gets worse when the sudden appearance of Jenna causes them to remember what happened a year ago.
BEST & WORST SCENES:
Alea: My favorite scene was Ezra and picking up Aria in the rain. I thought it was beautifully shot and I loved how there was only music and no dialogue. It seemed like it was from a movie.
Khyrinthia: That scene creeped me out. He just happened to by driving by?
Carol: I agree with both of you. It was both creepy and hot at the same time.
Alea: Yeah, I guess maybe they both hang around the Hollis campus! I knew you would not like that one Khy!
Khyrinthia: And he was at the theater? STALKER.
Carol: Right, Khy! Maybe he put a tracking device on her or something so he can know where she is all the time.
Alea: Yeah that scene was kind of odd but I don't think he was really stalking them, it was very awkward though. Did you guys catch that scene, something about a Brad Pitt joke, that totally went over my head, did you get it?
Carol: I didn't get the Brad Pitt joke. It was so odd.
Khyrinthia: I saw that! that was weird. Who cares about Brad Pitt nowadays?
Carol: LOL. Only the orphans who want to be adopted!
Alea: Ok glad it wasn't just me! I don't even remember what scene it was from now!
Carol: Any scene Jenna was in was very awkward.
Khyrinthia: Yeah, they're trying to make her too creepy. And she was the main character in SPECTACULAR! so I was hoping she'd break out into song.
Carol: You and your musicals Khy. xD
Alea: I feel like she's watching them but she obviously can't be since she's blind! She was in Spectacular, oh that's too much!
Khyrinthia: Pretty Little Liars: The Musical would be interesting...
Carol: and funny

Alea: Did you notice Aria got a new phone, the others might have as well. It's one of the shows advertisers or something. I forget the name of the phone but it's a little square and the way the text messages pop up is sort of ugly, in those round bubbles.
Khyrinthia: The Kin? I hate those commercials. At least the product placement isn't as bad as Vampire Diaries!
Alea: Haha!
Carol: I fast-forwarded through all the commercials. Thank you whoever invented DVR's!
Khyrinthia: ALSO WORST SCENE:
Khyrinthia: The To Kill a Mockingbird scene completely distracted me. Isn't Ezra supposed to be a challenging teacher? These kids aren't freshmen, why are they reading TKAM?
Khyrinthia: And I'm pretty sure I answered the same innocence in TKAM question in 8th grade.
Alea: Yeah I think we read that a lot earlier than 11th grade too.
Carol: We never read it. My school wasn't the best.
