Tuesday:

I spazzed about this several months ago in a WOW post. It was supposed to come out about 10 days later, and well that didn't happen and I finally got it this week, 3 months later! And it's even better than I thought it was going to be, it's hot pink with green glitter!

Good day at the library bookstore! I was just about the buy Startled By His Furry Shorts online when I found this! And Wings?!?!? What! Definitely the coolest thing I've found at the library bookstore!

I went to Half Price Books on my day off, give me a break it's been more than 2 months! :P And I totally didn't plan to go, well I hoped (and brought my coupon), but I didn't plan! *And 5 of these books were under $2!!! I thought I might learn to protect myself better from Yan and Carol with the Villain's Guide to Better Living, learn a bit more about how they live...
These Old Shades by Georgette Heyer
I wanted to try Georgette Heyer and this one came highly recommended by a friend! It sounds like it's going to be great, I got it at Borders!
Saturday:
Boy Toy by Barry Lyga
This came from the very kind J. Kaye! Thank you J. Kaye, I bet I'll adore it too!

You only need to protect yourself from Yan since she is a sadist. As for me, well I'll go nice on you. It will be a very fast kill. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou got some great books this week! :)
Nice loot you got this week. =)
ReplyDeleteHey, just give me your books and I'll leave you alone :) orrrr I'll gladly take your house key and a airplane ticket to your town!
ReplyDeleteI hate my libraries/bookstores. I swear they have something against us book loves! NO SALES ALMOST EVER!!!
Your library actually SELLS books? Man, I can hardly even get English books to BORROW from mine. The perils of living in a French-run province. Alas.
ReplyDeleteI envy your Wings find. Very cool!
Wow!!! Awesome week! That Friday off is going to be dangerous to your pocketbook.
ReplyDeleteSOOOOOO jealous of Wings. D:
ReplyDeleteGreat week, huh? I love the cover of Wings, it's soooo pretty!
ReplyDeleteI like the bow-tie design. And you have a library bookstore? Lucky.
ReplyDeleteStartled by His Furry Shorts is a hilarious title!
ReplyDeleteI have not been on a Half Price book binge in SO long. I have been so good lately, but I feel myself giving in to temptation with each passing day!

ReplyDeleteI also nominated you for an award on my blog!
I love the way you arrange your books! Great books. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLots of Great books.
ReplyDeleteLenore mentioned the design and I realized it reminds me of that computer game Mahjong Titans. At least that's it's name on my computer. On an old computer when I was growing up (the '90s) it was something like Taipei though. Either way, it's another lookalike! lol
ReplyDeleteI'm going to review B as in Beauty too!
ReplyDeletePsst: http://inbedwithbooks.blogspot.com/2009/03/blog-awards.html

The Rachel Maude book is the only one I recognize. A reader won it from our Prize Bucket last week. You and Kristi seems to be swimming in books.
